I’ll take a walk and shake it off
I can’t behave the way you want
Look down the road,
you’ll be seeing the back of my head
This busted car can hold me
It will and it does
And nothing can compare
To the sun in my two arms
To be alone, what a feeling
To be forgotten, what a feeling
And I tried to remember how the rain felt
I tried to remember how the rain felt
‘Cause it won’t fall again
The ground will be cracked and drained
And the only things growing
Are the tension lines in your face
No time to try and fertilize
Saw you with floods in your eyes
What happened to put you in such a state, my dear?
Just take a walk and shake it off
Feeling will be gone tomorrow
And nothing can compare
to the sun in your two arms
To be alone, what a feeling
To be forgotten, what a feeling
To be alone, what a feeling
To be forgotten, what a feeling
And I won’t fall again
I will be dry and drained
When the only things growing
Are the tensions lines in my face
To be alone, what a feeling
To be forgotten, what a feeling
To be alone, what a feeling
To be forgotten, what a feeling
To be alone, what a feeling
To be forgotten, what a feeling
And I won’t feel again
I won’t feel again
Mmm mmm

Cheeses crust, this is amazing bedroom DIY art. Beautiful & lush sounds flow smoothly down like a delicious shake. The nice sour-esque, but sweet fuzz adds such a nice balance to the latter.
Nice groovy moments abound, as well. It feels really personal, like a portion of her diary is exposed for us to devour deliciously.
Really excellent pop, but that does no justice for this amazing record.

Spacious, psych-tinged indie rock from Philly; painting in blurry watercolors (but not without percussive headiness). Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 16, 2016
The former frontman of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart lets loose with a passionate, Dylan-esque record full of razor-sharp lyricism. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 2, 2021
The latest album from British indie rock band is filled with pared back tracks recorded in various countries while the band was on tour. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 23, 2020
Sometimes, feeling joy also involves experiencing and processing difficult thoughts and emotions. Jubilee truly captures the complexity of joy. Its messages and themes are sincerely conveyed through beautiful instrumentals and heartfelt lyrics, making it a delightful record to listen to from beginning to end. jacobville
